Looking for free or low-cost course materials for your students but not sure where to start? This flowchart will help you to find open and affordable educational resources (OAER) at that you can adopt or adapt for your own course use. We suggest beginning your search by checking to see what options are available from Penn State University Libraries. When in doubt, reach out for help!

 and create an e-reserve

Check EBSCO Faculty Select to find open textbooks that you can immediately adopt or DRM-free eBooks that you can request from the library
