OER in Physics and Beyond

Dr. Michael Gallis, Associate Professor of Physics at PSU Schuylkill, has been an advocate for and author of Open Educational Resources (OER) for many years. Dr. Gallis has replaced high cost textbooks in his Physics courses with the OpenStax University Physics Texbooks. Students at PSU and all over the world are finding his You Tube Chanel of animations incredibly helpful. He even figured out how to remove the need for a publisher provided homework system by utilizing WebWork, an open-source online homework system for math and science courses.
