Adopting Open and Affordable Educational Resources (OAER) for Your Course Registration

Session 3: Thursday, May 19th, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ET – “Implementing OAER into Your Course”

This workshop series sponsored by the Penn State Open and Affordable Educational Resources (OAER) working group will consist of three sessions for instructors who are interested in exploring the possibility of lowering the cost of course materials for their students by adopting existing resources that are open, free, or low cost. Librarians and learning designers will guide instructors through the process of searching for quality OAER and using appropriate technologies to implement them into their courses.

Session 3 Description: The “Implementing OAER into Your Course” session will provide tips on using appropriate technologies and workflows to leverage OAER in the classroom, design engaging instructional experiences, and ensure accessibility.
